The breathwork retreat will be led by two internationally accredited coaches
There are only 22 exclusive places available on the retreat
Daily breathwork, meditation, yoga and immersion in Namibia's wilderness are on the schedule
The 51,000-hectare property is a sanctuary for endangered species of wildlife
Global hospitality group Our Habitas has done a deal with breathwork academy BreathQ to offer a seven-day breathwork retreat between 18-24 October and more dates in 2026 at Our Habitas Namibia – a safari lodge set within a 51,000-hectare reserve in the Kalahari Desert.

Only 22 guests are invited to stay at 11 of the property’s eco-conscious tented safari suites to experience the breathing programme, which is called Breathe wild: a breathwork safari for body, mind and soul.

The retreat will be led by breath and transformational coaches Silke Hartmann and Sonja Wäger-Kuhn. They will teach ancient breathing practices to help heal and strengthen the mind-body connection and release physical, emotional and energy blockages.

The schedule will include:
• Daily breathwork and movement classes, including sound healing, mediation and nature immersion in Namibia’s wilderness.
• Sunrise yoga and meditation sessions, including silent walks in the bush and game drives on open safari vehicles to view the local wildlife.
• Restorative breathwork sessions in the evenings, dance and deep-dive meditations before dining under the stars.

Rates for the seven-day programme start at US$4,800 (€4,268, £3,592), per person shared (2 guests max) or US$6,100 (€5,424, £4,564) per person for single occupancy.

Our Habitas

Our Habitas Namibia is a safari lodge with 15 luxurious tented suites and a private villa, with accommodation for 40 guests.

The wellness offerings at the property include spa treatments that are not included in the retreat package and must be booked separately. The treatments use a combination of international formulae as well as locally-sourced ingredients from the property's garden and local farms – such as extracts of Himba red hematite stone, ximenia, kalahari melon seed, manketti, baoba, inara and myrrh essential oils.

The property takes part in a number of local initiatives such as wildlife conservation (by being a safe haven for endangered species of wildlife such as rhinos, zebras and wildebeest). It also supports Namibia’s communities through its Our Habitas RISE programme, offering job opportunities and hospitality training to locals.

Our Habitas is an eco-conscious hospitality group defined by its commitment to offering guests community-focused experiences in nature. It has five properties in South America (mainly located in Mexico) six properties in the Middle East (five of which are in Saudi Arabia) and three properties in Africa (Our Habitas Namibia and two in Morocco).
