Peninsula Hot Springs reveals new ‘commitment scheme’ to secure future bookings
POSTED 09 Apr 2020 . BY Megan Whitby
The scheme is a response to the global coronavirus pandemic
Peninsula Hot Springs, in Victoria, Australia, which is currently closed due to the pandemic, has launched a scheme to let people purchase experience day vouchers in advance. These will then be valid once the destination reopens.

The scheme is a response to the global coronavirus pandemic and has been designed to ‘continue the joy of giving’ despite social-distancing and self-isolating.

Called commitment gifts, the vouchers are a new type of online gift voucher which require only AUS$1 to book.

When buying a commitment gift, people will be able to choose between four of the destination’s most popular experiences and will pay the remainder of the voucher balance once the gift certificate is activated.

Guests can choose between Commitment for Bath House Bathing; costing AUD$54 (US$33,€30 £27), Commitment for Bathing for Two; priced at AUD$109 (US$66, €61, £54), Commitment for Spa Dreaming, Dine and Bathe for Two; costing AUD$249 (US$151, €140, €123) and Commitment for Unwind; which costs AUD$214 (US$130, €121, £106).

After purchasing, guests will receive a personalised commitment gift via email which is valid for three years from Peninsula Hot Springs' reopening date.

Situated on a 42-acre property, the thermal destination was launched by brothers Charles and Richard Davidson in 1997.

Peninsula Hot Springs features a Spa Dreaming Center, Bath House including 50 globally-inspired bathing experiences such as a cave pool, reflexology walk, Turkish steam bath and underground sauna, as well as a Bathing House Amphitheatre which is used for arts and entertainment performances, wellness classes and cultural experiences.
