QHotels has appointed Caroline Gemmell as group spa manager for its luxury four-star hotels.

She will be responsible for the group's 18 hotel spas, as well as developing partnerships with hotel teams and product brands which are utilized throughout the hotel's spas.

QHotels said she will be focusing on ensuring customer service is of the highest stand and implementing development schemes for spa staff.

Gemmell said: "Holistic and spa treatments are an integral part of enriching people's lives and at QHotels we really want to make a difference by creating new treatments within all of our 18 spa hotels."

She joins QHotels from The Aspria Collection and also worked at Elemis, Decleor & Carita, The Chelsea Club and Virgin Atlantic.
