Yoga classes and other activities will take place overlooking the ocean during the Rosewood property's Global Wellness Day celebrations
Other experiences on offer include an aqua fitness class, trampolining cardio and Pilates sessions

Rosewood Le Guanahani St Barth, on the northeast coast of Saint Barthélemy in the French West Indies, is offering a programme of ocean-inspired yoga classes between 8-14 June to celebrate Global Wellness Day (GWD).

GWD is a non-profit movement dedicated to promoting the power of wellness. The movement will mark its 15th anniversary on 13th June 2026, with the theme: #JoyMagenta – a celebration of the healing qualities of simple gestures and activities that spark joy.

The programme at the Rosewood resort includes an Ocean Flow class, which will provide gentle movement, deep stretches and mindful breathing. An evening candlelit yoga class will take place under the stars on the resort’s jetty, surrounded by the sounds of the surrounding water.

A morning Flow Stretch session is also on the agenda, as is a Vinyasa Yoga class – linking body movement with the breath. There is also a Restorative and Nidra class with slow transitions and long holds, featuring a guided meditation to reduce stress, anxiety and enhance sleep.

Other GWD activities at the resort will include an aqua fitness class held in the outdoor spa pool. This is a music-driven experience and the movement has been choreographed to tone the body and build endurance. A Pilates class is also on offer, in addition to two trampoline cardio sessions on the resort’s trampolines that have sweeping ocean views.

Some of the classes are free, as per the Global Wellness Day ethos, and others incur a €30 (US$33, £26) fee.

The Sense Spa is also promoting a free 30-minute back massage when visitors book a 60 or 90-minute facial.

Martein Van Wagenberg, the Managing Director at Rosewood Le Guanahani told Spa Business: "At Rosewood Le Guanahani St Barth, wellbeing is shaped by the rhythm of the island itself. Set on a private peninsula hugged by Marigot Bay, Grand Cul-de-Sac, and Le Morne, the resort invites guests to slow down and reconnect through the restorative beauty of their surroundings.
"That is why this year's Global Wellness Day theme of #JoyMagenta resonates so strongly with us. Its focus on cultivating joy through gratitude, connection, movement, and creativity reflects something we witness every day – that wellbeing is often found in life's most meaningful yet uncomplicated moments. Whether greeting the day with yoga overlooking the water, exploring Le Morne on a guided nature hike, unwinding with a nature-inspired spa treatment, or swimming alongside sea turtles, we encourage guests to discover joy through experiences that foster a deeper connection to themselves, to others and to the natural beauty that surrounds them."
