Radio personality, television host and producer Ryan Seacrest is teaming up with Beverly Hills dermatologist Dr. Harold Lancer to launch a men’s skincare line in late 2016.

The products will utilise the principles of Dr. Lancer’s Lancer Method, but will feature entirely original formulas designed to navigate the specific skincare needs of men today.

“It’s no secret that guys are increasingly embracing the benefits and value of grooming, as well as openly talking about it,” said Seacrest. “I’ve always credited Dr. Lancer with my own efforts to maintain a youthful appearance, leveraging his skincare regimen.”

Seacrest is host to the top-rated American primetime talent showcase “American Idol,” host and executive producer of the annual New Year’s Eve programme “Dick Clark’s Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest” as well as the producer of the hit series “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”

Seacrest also has a wellness connection, having also produced the Emmy Award-winning reality series “Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution.”

Dr. Lancer said he’s seen an evolution in how men care for and about their skin during his 30-plus years of practice.

“There’s undoubtedly more of a consciousness within this demographic, and a clear shift to more diligent maintenance,” he said. “Men are more discerning about their regular grooming habits and products. Realising this and their specific skincare priorities, it became apparent we needed a targeted, effective line to address this category.”

Tracey Sameyah, CEO of Lancer Skincare, said the partnership between Dr. Lancer and Seacrest is unique.

“Backed by Dr. Lancer’s solid foundation as a world-renowned dermatologist, and Ryan’s incredible global reach, their vision for this emerging segment will be a game-changer for the men’s grooming industry.”
