A new online platform and app called Spa Well has launched today (17 March) to provide the international industry with a space for connection, collaboration, education and personal growth.

Founded by seasoned spa and wellness leader Sara Young, the initiative aims to connect professionals, share valuable insights and provide opportunities for collaboration through a mix of digital and in-person events, educational content and knowledge-sharing.

Spa Well has been designed to cater to a range of spa and wellness professionals, including operators, suppliers, consultants, educational associations, recruiters, architects and designers.

All memberships include access to:
Industry meetups and networking – Fortnightly virtual and monthly in-person events across the UK (with plans for international expansion), including operator-only, supplier-only, and combined events, each focused on specific industry topics.
Specialist-led webinars and educational content – Weekly insights from industry leaders and a central resource library.
An online community – A platform and app for advice, celebrating wins, fielding opinions and job advertisements.
A business and supplier directory – A trusted resource for discovering new partners and opportunities.

Membership is structured as follows:

Independent consultants: £50 (US$65, €59) annually (+VAT).
Operators and spa management professionals: Free.

"Spa Well is a space built for spa professionals, by spa professionals – a place to connect, learn and grow the industry together,” said Young.

“We’re here to unite the entire industry and make knowledge-sharing accessible to everyone, no matter where you are in your career."

A trained sports massage therapist, Young brings 15 years of experience in the sector, with leadership roles at renowned UK destination spas including South Lodge, St Michaels Resort and Chewton Glen Hotel & Spa. She also served as spa revenue manager for Carnival UK (the parent company of P&O Cruises and Cunard), overseeing 14 cruise ship spas in partnership with Steiner Spa Consulting and Canyon Ranch.

The Spa Well platform will evolve based on member feedback and has launched with strategic partnerships with industry suppliers Comfort Zone and Myndstream.
