Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina in the British Virgin Islands has named Dr Rajamannar Chinnaraju as spa director of its Ixora Spa, where he will oversee the menu of services, daily operations and staff.

With a degree in Naturopathic Medicine and Yoga Therapy from Dr MGR Medical University in India, Chinnaraju has more than seven years of experience in spa and wellness menu design and management of five-star hotel and resort spas. He specialises in ayurvedic Panchakarma wellness treatments.

Prior to joining Ixora Spa, Chinnaraju was wellness consultant and yoga specialist at Peter Island Resort & Spa in the British Virgin Islands. He has also worked as spa manager and yoga instructor for The Spa at Leverick Bay, the Spa at Biras Creek Resort, The Spa at Bitter End Yacht Club and The Spa at Nail Bay Resort.
