Sha Wellness Clinic has announced plans to reveal the world’s healthiest residences in 2022, with the opening of its new Sha Mexico resort.

Building on the success of the original clinic in Spain, Sha Mexico’s wellbeing-focused residences will offer a complete immersion into the Sha lifestyle.

The destination and its residences will be located just north of the Riviera Maya, surrounded by seven hectares of indigenous flora, half a kilometre of white sandy beach and turquoise Caribbean water.

Resident’s privileges will include permanent access to more than 300 global medical experts, 100 consultations and the clinic’s cutting-edge facilities, with the added exclusivity of a private residence.

According to Sha VP, Alejandro Bataller, this “game-changing move into property ensures Sha Mexico is the destination of choice for consumers seeking a long-term integration of health and lifestyle”.

The Residences
Every detail behind the Residences has been curated with wellbeing in mind – from the idyllic setting, architecture and design to the choice of natural and sustainable materials and cutting-edge in-house technology.

Renowned Mexican architectural firm Sordo Madaleno and the prestigious interior architect Alejandro Escudero have been carefully chosen by Sha to lead design.

White marble, natural fibres and fabrics, native woods, regional handicrafts and pottery are some of the interior design highlights guests can expect.

There will be three categories available, including The Residence, The Beach House and The Penthouse, ranging between 240sq m and 800sq m with two, three and four-bedroom options.

All will include private access for owners, an outdoor and indoor integrated kitchen, generous terrace with private garden and glass infinity pool, laundry room and wine cellar.

They’ll also incorporate state-of-the-art air and water purification systems, as well as home automation based on circadian rhythms.

The building will rise to different heights, cohesively existing alongside gardens, mangroves and natural cenotes, built with the highest water and energy efficiency.

The lifestyle
“Sha’s move into the property market was driven by consumer demand to invest in long-term lifestyle changes,” Bataller explained.

“Owners can enjoy the best of both worlds - unparalleled access to wellness amenities and experts, while Sha’s property management team ensures a worry-free ownership experience.”

Owners will have permanent access to an extensive list of treatments, including water therapies, therapeutic and cosmetic treatments and an array of fitness options, including functional training, Pilates, yoga and meditation.

A host of medical and clinical treatments will be available in the privacy of a Residence, ranging from a relaxing massage to a Vinyasa Yoga class on the terrace, or a healthy cooking class.

Residence owners will also have access to room service from Sha’s restaurants and in-residence catering with private chefs.

A dedicated team of full-time staff including a Sha residences manager, concierge, maintenance, housekeeping and security staff will be on-hand to assist with daily needs.

Also, although Sha remains an adults-only clinic, the range of treatments available within the Residences make it possible for children to experience a taste of Sha’s concept.

The owners’ club
A Sha Residences Owners' Club will offer an endless list of advantages, including being able to enjoy Sha Residences in other select locations around the world, as an exchange between owners.

Sha’s flagship destination in Spain will soon also be joined by Sha Emirates in 2023, an idyllic spot in a seaside nature reserve between vibrant Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
