Spa Philosophy, Macau's first day spa and the world's first fully oxygenated and pollution-free day spa, has introduced two new treatments, using chocolate as the main ingredient.

The Chocolate Lovers' delight, is a two hour treatment aimed at couples, which takes place in the spa's two person's suite. Couples are first treated to a chocolate fudge body polish, made with Godiva chocolate liqueur, sweet almond oil and ground walnuts, which exfoliates the skin. This is followed by a chocolate fondue wrap - a mixture of dark chocolate powder and clay - which is nourishing for the skin and has anti-oxidating benefits. The experience is topped off with a Macanese massage.

People wishing to indulge alone at the spa, can enjoy the Heavenly Chocolate Experience, a similar treatment which takes place in one of the single treatment rooms.

Chocolate contains phenyletylamine, a natural substance which stimulates the same reaction in the body as falling in love. It also has nourishing and moisturising benefits when applied to the skin.
