Spafinder Wellness has appointed two new vice presidents to its management team.

Dave Walters has been named vice president of technology while Peter Manice will take up the role of vice president of partner development.

Walters, who joins the company from the XO Group where he was vice president of technology solutions, will play a key role in the company's technology vision and manage the company's information technology infrastructure.

He will be responsible for content systems and ecommerce initiatives, as well as directing and executing large-scale company projects, assuring alignment between technology, business groups and consumers.

Manice, previously with US-based online retailer ideeli, will be responsible for revenue management, marketing and distribution programmes for SpaFinder's global network of wellness, fitness and spa providers.

His responsibilities will additionally include new, consumer-focused "last-minute" local and travel products.
