Image: The resort will be the brand's third in ThailandU Hotels and Resorts has announced that its third managed property in Thailand - the 133-bedroom U Sunsuri Phuket - is scheduled to open its doors in November this year.
The Phuket resort will join properties in Chiang Mai and Kanchanaburi, with facilities set to include a spa with three treatment rooms offering Asian and European-inspired massages.
Two swimming pools with pool bar; a purpose-built children's pool and kids' club; a fully-equipped fitness suite; and a beach club will also be among the resort's facilities.
U Hotels and Resorts is a brand owned by management company Absolute Hotel Services (AHS) while the owner of U Sunsuri Phuket is At Nai Harn Resort Co Ltd.
AHS has also revealed the appointment of Martin Fabiano as general manager of the resort. Fabiano joins on 1 July from his role as general manager at the Park Plaza Bangkok Soi 18.
