Spanish operator Parques Reunidos has acquired the world’s largest indoor water park, Germany’s Tropical Islands, from Malaysian firm Tanjong for €226m (US$257.3m, £203.3m).

Destroyed Rio National Museum to be rebuilt with help of Mexican experts

Experts from Mexico's National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) will work alongside Brazilian colleagues at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro to help rebuild Brazil's 200-year-old Museu Nacional, which was destroyed earlier this year in a huge blaze.

US$90m Soundwaves waterpark opens at Gaylord Opryland Resort
