More than 100 spa and wellness professionals from across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) have assembled in Croatia to attend W3Spa EMEA, kicking off today at the five-star Le Méridien Lav, Split.

Now in its second year, the three-day industry event is organised by spa, fitness and hospitality buyer event company We Work Well.

The conference sees leading global spa suppliers and decision-makers from luxury spas across the EMEA region connect through one-on-one meetings, networking and educational opportunities.

W3Spa is helmed by We Work Well co-founders Lucy Hugo and Monica Helmstetter, and event director Stephen Pace-Bonello.

“We Work Well was founded on a core belief that by bringing wellness into all aspects of our event programmes, attendees could cultivate stronger, healthier and more authentic business relationships,” they told Spa Business.

“Through our Meet Well, Grow Well, Move Well, Nourish Well, Rest Well and Give Well approach to growing your business, we seek to inspire our attendees to reimagine how they connect and to take what they have experienced at our events and put it into practice in their personal and professional lives.”

For 2023, Find Your Balance is the theme that will be woven throughout the event.

“Maintaining balance in your life is essential for our overall wellbeing,” the organisers continued.

“We will challenge our attendees to think about how we can model the importance of balance in our own lives to promote a healthier and happier work culture among our employees, customers and community.

“The luxurious beachfront Le Méridien Split resort – with its beautiful meeting rooms, ample outdoor space and a world-class spa – is the perfect location to deliver an innovative programme that allows attendees to find their balance as they meet, network and educate themselves all while prioritising their health and wellbeing.”

W3Spa is hosted twice annually – once in Europe for the EMEA region and once in North America for the US market.

The US event is scheduled for later this year from 5 to 8 November at Four Seasons Westlake Village, California. Find out more details here.

W3Spa is the sister event of We Work Well’s two other hosted buyer conferences which target the fitness and hospitality markets; W3Fit and W3Hospitality.
