Spas across the world were honoured at the ninth World Travel Awards ceremony, held on 25 October on the Caribbean island of St Lucia.
The awards were launched in 1993 to acknowledge and celebrate achievements in all areas of the world's travel and tourism industry.
Votes are cast by travel agents in over 200 countries across the globe.

Africa: La Saint Geran Hotel, Spa & Golf Club, Mauritius
Asia/Pacific: Taj Exotica Resort, Maldives
Caribbean: The Body Holiday at LeSPORT, St Lucia
Central & Latin America: Las Ventanas Al Paraiso, Mexico
Europe: Le Meridien Limassol, Cyprus
Middle East: The Ritz-Carlton Dubai Spa & Beach Club
North America: Wyndham Peaks Resort & Golden Door Spa
South America: Kurotel Longevity Center & Spa.
The Elemis Day Spa, London, was named Europe's leading day spa.
