Founder, Tony de Leede, believes workers need a wello break more than ever
Wello Works, a new concept which mixes a wellness centre and a co-working office, has launched its first site in Sydney.

The brainchild of wellness veteran, Tony de Leede, Wello Works has been designed to bring wellness into the workplace and foster a holistic approach to work, life and wellbeing.

“Wello is a wellness break,” says de Leede. “We feel that due to the significantly higher pressures of today, the concept of a break is more relevant than ever.”

The concept allows people to rent a workspace that gives them access to a range of wellness amenities, including Hydromassage, massage chairs, an LED light therapy bed, meditation pods, infrared sauna with salt bricks, hot and cold therapy and Somadome deep meditation.

“The wello break encourages employees to engage in activities that contribute to their mental, physical, and emotional wellness,” says de Leede. “Whether it's a brief meditation session, stretching exercises, or a leisurely walk outdoors, the wello break is designed to provide individuals with the opportunity to recharge and refresh, ultimately enhancing productivity and job satisfaction.”

The second site will open in Atlanta in mid-April. De Leede has said he will look at franchising the brand once the first two sites are established.

This is a pivot from de Leede's previous concept of Club W, a women's only space which targeted older women to help them "live longer by living well."

The pandemic saw de Leede move on from Club W and evolving his rollout into the corporate wellness sector.
