Next month will see the introduction by sauna company Klafs of Touchcontrol, a sauna control system which provides specially created wellbeing programmes at the touch of a button.
With a large colour touchscreen and an intuitive interface, Touchcontrol can store the favourite settings of up to ten people, allowing an entirely personal sauna mood to be created almost instantly.
It also provides the option of choosing from 12 pre-determined programmes - from after work and after fitness saunas to the beauty programme - by using 'emotional icons' on the screen.
Not only are the sauna's balanced temperature and air humidity preset to a theme and the appropriate special settings applied, but context-orientated suggestions for the bathing process, recommendations for the choice of fragrance and even information on the medical effect of the selected programme can also be obtained.
A further innovation is the option of being able to operate several compartments at once - such as the sauna, the infrared compartment and the steam bath -via one control.
Password protection, connection to existing building control technology, a service interface for updates plus short operation instructions are included, making the control of particular interest to the commercial sector.
