Expansion plans revealed by Six Senses

Six Senses Resorts and Spas are to develop two resorts and a large spa in the Brazilian state of Alagoas. Both opening in late 2012, one of the resorts will be branded as a Six Senses Hideaway while the other will be a Six Senses Latitude.

The Six Senses Spa will serve both resorts and have a core menu of treatments augmented with Brazilian specialities. The site will cover an area of 495 acres (200.3ha).

In total, the group currently has a development pipeline of 29 projects at various stages of construction. These include a spa at Hotel Missoni Kuwait, which is due to open in May 2010. Details: sixsenses.com
