Intelligent Deposit Systems has launched a new cash handling device at the International Gaming Expo.
At the end of each day, companies have to count and record their takings, which can be very time consuming. Those days may be gone however, with the introduction of I-Depsys (Intelligent Deposit System): a gaming table integrated device with multiple note and multiple denomination acceptance which counts and deposits any money handed over at the tables into a sealed bank / CIT (Cash in Transit) approved pouch.
Any and all monies deposited can be reconciled through a bespoke back office system which can stand alone or be integrated with existing casino management reporting software. This same software offers a full audit trail of all I-Depsys units and shows in real time the cash/drop position of each unit/table (how much cash is in each table).
IDS completed a successful four-month trial of I-Depsys with Stanley Casinos where the device was trialled in a live casino environment. The unit is designed to deliver the following benefits:

• Elimination of potential shrinkage
• Real time snap shot of Table Drop
• Full Audit trail and reconciliation
The company is also working on a solution for electronic gaming, boasting the same benefits as the integrated table solution, thus being able to offer Casinos and gaming environments a comprehensive solution.
