Leith Victoria Swim Centre reopens

Edinburgh Fitness, the leisure trust, has completed the month-long refurbishment of the Leith Victoria Swim Centre.

The revamp included maintenance and improvement works throughout the site and an upgrade of the gym, which has been fitted with 25 pieces of Life Fitness CV and strength equipment.

Lorraine Young, health and fitness manager for Edinburgh Leisure, said: “These improvements, which are jointly funded by Edinburgh Leisure and the City of Edinburgh are part of a five-year on-going programme of refurbishment across 15 sites.

“During the last three years, over £1m has been invested to modernise or extend the facilities.”

Edinburgh Leisure manages 26 leisure properties, ranging from sailing schools to leisure centres and has more than 3.3 million customers each year. Details: www.edinburghleisure.co.uk
