It represents a new frontier for in-clinic treatments
– Lucy Goff |
A hand-held near-infrared laser device, designed to enable therapists to transform the skin and its underlying structure, has been unveiled by Lyma.
Called Laser Pro, the new product can help sculpt and lift areas such as the cheekbones, jawline, upper arms and stomach.
Securing partnerships with high-end spas such as Four Seasons Athens and Surrenne, UK, Lyma has launched the Laser Pro with a 75-minute facial developed by expert trainer Christina Salcedas and an array of renowned facialists. However, the device can also be incorporated into existing treatments or aftercare services to help the efficacy of topical products, lessen inflammation or hasten the healing process.
A professional variant of Lyma's home-beauty wand, the Laser Pro features three lasers (not one) with a continuous and ultra-diffused 1450mW beam to rebuild the muscle tissue from a depth of 10cm upwards. It also has a bigger head and greater treatment area – 33cm2 compared to 8.5cm2.
Company founder Lucy Goff says the new device "represents a new frontier for in-clinic treatments”.
