Senescence is one of the biggest challenges in the fight against ageing, but thanks to advanced biotechnology and precious, innovative ingredients, we can slow this process and maintain youthful, luminous skin and hair for longer
– Miriam Quevedo, founder
Hair rejuvenation brand Miriam Quevedo has developed four different capsules for scalp and hair treatments, designed to be delivered in luxury spas without the need for washing stations.

Using Japanese-inspired massage techniques for the scalp, neck, décolleté and back, the capsules can be used during standalone rituals or as complementary services.

The four treatments are:

• Baccara Ultimate Hair Age-Reversing Ritual
The brand says this infusion of fresh rose stem cells and 24k gold is used to penetrate the hair fibres and repair damage.

• Platinum and Diamond Decadence Ritual
Using platinum and diamond powder, the company says this capsule nourishes and regenerates the hair from deep within. It is said to restore volume and is best for those with normal or fine hair seeking a youthful shine.

• Sublime Gold Golden Opulence Ritual
This treatment uses a solution featuring gold to nourish the hair and is designed for guests with normal or thick hair in need of hydration.

• Precious White Caviar Hair Rejuvenating Ritual
The brand describes this treatment as a comprehensive therapy for the main causes of hair ageing, such as heat damage, oxidative stress, pollution and wear. The product is particularly suited to guests with sensitive scalps due to the soothing nature of the treatment.

The capsules offer guests a chance to indulge in a 30-minute haircare add-on treatment – extending a guest’s body or facial therapy – and they can also be sold as retail products.

Miriam Quevedo offers a hair health analysis service during consultations with guests to see how well their hair is ageing. Using a micro-camera, the camera reveals any signs of damage and the products can be personalised to provide the relevant treatment.

Miriam Quevedo said: “Senescence is one of the biggest challenges in the fight against ageing, but thanks to advanced biotechnology and precious, innovative ingredients, we can slow this process and maintain youthful, luminous skin and hair for longer.

“Our formulas provide a comprehensive solution to combat senescence and enhance cellular longevity, ensuring radiant and resilient skin in the face of time and environmental challenges,” added Quevedo.

The capsules are currently available in Spain at destinations such as Hotel Camiral and W Barcelona. They are also available in Dubai at luxury properties such as the Burj Al Arab, Madinat Jumeirah and soon, Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

Pearl Tree is the distributor for Miriam Quevedo in the GCC and the British Indian Ocean Territory.
