New chair designate for Horniman Museum

Timothy Hornsby, currently a Commissioner for the National Lottery Charities Board and a Trustee of the Charles Darwin Trust, has been named chair designate of the Horniman Museum.

The museum – in the south east of London, holds a collection from all over the world illustrating people, their cultures and environments and includes arts, crafts, music and natural history.

Hornsby will become chair on 1 April 2004. Details: www.horniman.ac.uk
