New director at Bristol Zoo

Dr Jo Gipps from the Zoological Society of London is replacing Geoffrey Greed as director at Bristol Zoo Gardens, ending 80 years and two generations of the Greed family having directed the attraction. President of the Bristol Zoo Gardens Council, Roger Baird, welcomes Gipps' appointment: His skills in visitor attraction management and his enthusiasm for conservation will bolster Bristol Zoo Gardens' already strong reputation. Gipps takes up his post in September.
