SkinCeuticals prepares to debut its first-ever misting product, Phyto Corrective Essence Mist

The Phyto Corrective Essence Mist draws on the benefits of botanicals to provide immediate soothing relief

Skincare brand SkinCeuticals will expand its existing Phyto range on 9 January with an all-new spritzing product, the Phyto Corrective Essence Mist.

Designed to hydrate and soothe, the essence has been developed for relief following in-clinic treatments like laser and chemical peels which can often create inflammation, redness and heat in patients’ skin.

Clinical treatments aside, even daily exposure to internal and external stressors can easily upset skin’s delicate balance, says SkinCeuticals, whether that’s UV, pollution, broken sleep or post-procedural trauma.

In response, the company has created the Phyto Corrective Essence Mist to encourage healing, bolster the skin’s resilience, reduce redness and increase hydration, radiance and suppleness.

Suitable for all skin types, the formula is enriched with the same phyto botanical blend – combining cucumber, thyme, olive, rosemary, grapefruit and mulberry – at the heart of SkinCeuticals’ hero product and second bestseller globally, the Phyto Corrective Serum

In addition, hyaluronic acid and glycerin have been added to help the mist boost hydration, lock in moisture and reinforce the skin barrier.

“In clinic, we often use energy-assisted devices such as lasers to help resurface the skin, improve its condition and reduce the appearance of pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles,” explains Dr Ana Mansouri, aesthetic doctor and medical director at Dr Ana • The Skin Clinic (partnered with SkinCeuticals).

“Regardless of the desired result, there’s usually an element of discomfort or drying in the skin post-treatment, sometimes combined with heat and reddening of the skin; so products that help soothe the skin after the appointment are always very welcome.

“The Phyto Corrective Essence Mist draws on the benefits of botanicals to provide immediate soothing relief while also supporting against damaging free radicals and boosting the skin’s condition and hydration. Many clients take one home for continued use.”
