ThermaVisage RF8 launched by Carlton Professional
01 Mar 2012 . BY Martin Nash
 /
Carlton Beauty & Spa is adding to its portfolio of products with the new ThermaVisage RF8 machine.

The new arrival includes Radio Frequency and Vacuum alongside Colour Therapy for an effective anti-ageing treatment for the face and cellulite treatment for the body.

The Radio Frequency treatment uses waves which excite the molecular structure within the skin's tissues and thus generate heat.

This stimulates collagen production in the face, tightening and lifting the skin for an anti-ageing effect, and also breaks down fat cells in the body, reducing cellulite.

ThermaVisage RF8 includes Multi-Polar Radio Frequency making it straightforward for the therapist to use, since no frequency adjustment is required. The intensity of the Radio Frequency waves is adjustable making it suitable for both facial and body treatments.

Vacuum is also included on the machine. This treatment boosts both the lymph and blood circulatory systems by stimulating the underlying structures.

For the face, the increased circulation improves skin texture and increases lymphatic drainage, aiding the removal of toxins.

For the body, Vacuum treatments help to break down the fatty tissue and cellulite, as well as improving lymphatic and venous circulation whilst toning and improving the appearance of the tissues.

ThermaVisage RF8 includes five vacuum levels and four vacuum modes, allowing the therapist to personalise the treatment for their clients depending on their skin and the treatment being performed.

The machine also includes Colour Therapy. Used in combination with Radio Frequency and Vacuum, the Colour Therapy treatment stimulates the skin's cells to facilitate change.

The inclusion of both red and blue LED lights offers a wide range of benefits, with blue - for example - offering antibacterial effects for the treatment of acne, as well as assisting the vacuum in eliminating toxins; and red regenerating and energising.

The number of treatments required is dependant on the skin condition. For effective anti-ageing or cellulite reduction, a course of 6-10 sessions is recommended and thereafter a maintenance session every 4-6 weeks.

Treatments last from between 30 to 60 minutes, including Colour Therapy.
