Zenoti’s top three strategies to maximise your spa’s social media presence
09 Jun 2022
 /
Social media can be a powerful revenue driver... if guests can’t book an appointment from your social media channels, you’re missing out
– Sudheer Koneru
Social media is an integral part of our lives, with US adults spending 95 minutes on social media each day. For spas, social networks dominated by photos and videos – such as Facebook and Instagram – are ideal destinations to showcase your brand and picture-perfect services.

To make the most of your social media presence, use your channels to generate business, too. Encourage bookings, highlight promotions, and even offer a behind-the-scenes glance at your locations.

With a few targeted strategies, social media can be a powerful revenue driver. Here’s how to get noticed and stay top-of-mind:

1. Stand out with beautiful visuals
Photos can stop scrollers in their tracks. Consider investing in a photography course for key staff if you want a DIY approach or hire a professional photographer. Show off everything you have to offer, from serene settings to friendly faces. For spa brands with a beauty angle, use a ring light to capture a glowy new look.

2. Increase your reach
For a quick boost in your number of followers, try running a competition. Encourage guests to ‘like’ your post and tag their friends with a line such as “Tag someone you’d like to try [service] and you could win a $50 gift card!” Then, choose a winner, and create new posts (with their permission) to reinforce what they’ve won.

3. Drive social bookings
If current and prospective guests can’t book an appointment from your social media channels, you’re missing out. Add a Book Now button to social posts to give guests quick access to your online booking. When a guest spots that perfect new treatment or can’t-miss promotion, they can go from ‘I want that’ to ‘booking confirmed’ with just a few taps.

With Zenoti, the most complete software solution for spas, you can link your social media channels to your appointment book, for seamless social bookings that land directly in your spa software.
