Sigroup International brings herbal food perfume WDrink to wellness market

Sigroup International, a water and beverage manufacturing company, has produced an aromatic beverage and food perfume range called WDrink for the luxury wellness market.

Sigroup International produces a range of natural hydrolates, aromatic waters produced via the artisanal craft of steam-distilling plants, authorised for consumption.

The company sources its plants from organic Italian crops in a sustainable process that reduces environmental impact.

The WDrink brand’s aromatic beverages and food perfumes contain no alcohol, preservatives, additives, sugars or calories.

Simona Berger, founder of WDrink, told Spa Business: “I wanted to do more by offering products that demonstrated true Italian excellence, were of high-quality and authenticity. I have developed patented technologies and precise quality and hygiene safety procedures to create products using exclusively natural ingredients, without the addition of any additives.”

The WDrink first started as a line of aromatic waters that were sold in a bag-in-a-box format – both ready to drink and also as a concentrate to be diluted.

The newer fragrances are designed to be sprayed to provide flavour and scent. Not only can they be used to flavour dishes and drinks, but they can also be spritzed on the face and body for a soothing and refreshing wellbeing ritual.

Berger continued: “With its iconic look and pocket-sized format that allows you to take it anywhere, the WDrink perfume can surprise you with its versatility: to be misted over foods and drinks to infuse its natural fragrance or applied to the skin to enjoy the beneficial properties of plants or even just to freshen up your face.

“WDrink is designed for those who want authenticity, well-being and quality without compromise,” added Berger. “The spraying of a WDrink perfume invites a daily ritual for a unique sensory experience.”

There are 12 botanical scents to choose from, including basil, lemon verbena, helichrysum, geranium, casola lavender, lemon balm, peppermint, Damask rose, rosemary, sage, thyme and Leccino olive

The pocket-sized 50ml perfumes, which offer 900 sprays, cost €70 (US$76, £60).

The 1.5 litre ready-to-drink wellness beverage costs €27 (US$29, £23). This quantity represents six drinks.

The 1.5 litre concentrated wellness beverage costs €126 (US$137, £108). This quantity represents 300 doses to be diluted for food and drink flavourings, using 5-10ml each time. Alternatively the concentrate can be used to create 75 functional drinks using 20ml per glass.
