Further tenants for The Brewery

With phase two due to open next month, The Brewery leisure and retail development in Romford has signed a further four leisure operators to its 210,000sq ft leisure element. Operators Frankie and Benny's, Nandos, Harry Ramsden and Outback Steakhouse have joined The Brewery, phase one of which launched in April. The development is a 50:50 venture between J Sainsbury Developments and Stannifer under the Romford Developments name. Existing tenants include Pizza Express, Starbucks and McDonald's, and anchors include the 16-screen Ster Century cinema and a 45,000sq ft Esporta health and fitness club. Stannifer development manager, Andy MacDonald, says the latest lettings are 'a massive vote of confidence' in both The Brewery and the commercial future of Romford. Negotiations are underway with a bowling operator for a 26-lane facility.
