Resource appoints Batt as CEO

Resource: The Council for Museums, Archives and Libraries has appointed Chris Batt as chief executive.

Batt has been acting chief executive since May and was previously director of Resource's Libraries and Information Society Team.

Announcing the appointment, chair, Mark Wood, said: "Chris has already achieved a great deal in the past few months.

"Resource has become a more effective organisation and is implementing transformation programmes for museums, archives and libraries with efficiency and focus on producing tangible results." Details: www.resource.gov.uk
