International brand Quality Hotels are to open in Stoke-on-Trent on next month. The new Quality Hotel Stoke-on-Trent, formerly the Hilton hotel, has undergone a £2 million refurbishment and now boasts 136 bedrooms, a restaurant, two bars and a health club as well as a business centre with purpose-designed meeting rooms capable of holding up to 300 people. Quality is one of Choice Hotels brands - Europe's third largest hotel chain and has more than 5000 hotels worldwide. Since their introduction to Britain in 1987, Quality Hotels have acquired 50 properties and offer over 4500 rooms. Peter Cashman, chief operating officer of Choice Hotels Europe, said: The arrival of this internationally-recognised brand is great news for Stoke-on-Trent. We are confident that the new Quality Hotel will attract business and leisure visitors to the region from all over the world. The hotel is due to open 30 November.
