As part of a longstanding partnership with Butterfly Hotels, award-winning Micron Communications is project managing all the telecom and IT systems at the group's new 120-room Holiday Inn Express at Stroud Park in Banbury.
The hotel, due to open in June, will feature state-of-the-art high speed Internet access with WiFi, audio visual conference capabilities, modern telephone systems and a high-tech server and PC infrastructure.
Micron has project managed the IT and telecommunication systems in seven of Butterfly's eight hotels and works only with accredited suppliers. It provides telephone and call managements systems, guest Internet access, PC hardware, electronic point of sale (EPOS), property management software, TV and movie systems, door locks, security and energy management.
It was awarded hospitality specialist PARTNER designation from leading communications provider, Mitel, one of four companies to be selected in the UK and one of only two privately owned businesses to receive the designation.
The Holiday Inn Express Banbury will be Butterfly’s largest hotel, with 120 bedrooms on four floors, superior bathroom fittings, an all-day coffee shop, a bar, meeting rooms and free on-site parking.
Dining options include either a Toby Restaurant or a Frankie and Benny’s, both on the same site.
