The high-end residential real estate market is fiercely competitive and developers know that if they want to move their investments quickly, they need to add something special to the mix
– Gary Henkin, WTS president
Spa and fitness consultancy firm WTS International (WTS) has announced its collaboration with development company Trillist to create a new lifestyle brand called The Art of Living, focused on boosting people’s wellness through design.

The brand will make its debut this year at YOO on the Park, a design-led luxury apartment complex in in the heart of Midtown Atlanta, US.

According to WTS, the Art of Living will stimulate the senses of residents and inspire community wellness and social connection through “luxurious and sophisticated” shared spaces, such as distinctively designed billiards room, controlled music zones, a theatre and a 24-hour fitness centre with an outdoor exercise terrace and yoga area.

Complementing the amenities will be personalised services offered by an in-house lifestyle director, who will recommend local cultural events and fitness programmes to residents.

YOO in the Park is the latest project from Trillist and YOO Studio – the real estate company founded by by property entrepreneur John Hitchcox and designer Philippe Starck in 1999.

The 25-storey Atlanta complex is conceived as an extension of the adjacent Piedmont Park and reflects its greenery with a six-storey living green wall – North America’s largest – on the building’s exterior façade. This will be illuminated at night, creating a new community landmark.

“The YOO on the Park project has been unique, exciting and fun,” said Roberta Kruse-Fordham, WTS International’s corporate operations director. “In collaboration with Trillist, we’ve put a new definition on luxury vertical living and what residents can expect.”

Explaining inspiration for the Art of Living, WTS president Gary Henkin said: “The high-end residential real estate market is fiercely competitive and developers know that if they want to move their investments quickly, they need to add something special to the mix.

“The Art of Living is just that – a new concept which will deliver the highest level of lifestyle and luxury to residents, to ensure the success of YOO on the Park.”

Residents are expected to start moving in to the property’s 245 luxury apartments from this month.
