New Welsh Luxury Lodges with views that inspired Dylan Thomas to include £8m spa
POSTED 21 Jan 2019 . BY Jane Kitchen
UK-based Luxury Lodges will introduce the latest addition to their portfolio of self-catering accommodation in Laugharne, on the south coast of Carmarthenshire, Wales, in the summer of 2019.

Built at a cost of more than £30m, Luxury Lodges Laugharne will feature an on-site Milkwood Spa set at the heart of the resort, which will include an infinity pool, hydrotherapy sauna and steam rooms built to high specifications following an £8m investment.

The team from the UK’s Seaham Hall Luxury Spa Hotel along with Dale Sauna have been involved in the creation of the spa.

The resort will also include a new clubhouse, built to enhance the natural surroundings, which will house a restaurant, lounge and bar offering views of the Taf Estuary and Gower Peninsula, with views that are said to have inspired many artists, poets and writers, including Dylan Thomas.

These facilities are set to compliment a planned 145 lodges designed by PRP and Blackthorn Designs, which accommodate between 4-6 guests, with large open-plan living spaces.
