£3m DW Fitness Club to open in Lincoln

DW Sports Fitness Club is set to launch a new £3m gym in Lincoln, UK in March.

Located on Tritton Road, the fitness centre will be equipped with Technogym equipment, free weights and a functional training area.

The 17,000sq ft (1,579sq m) club will also house a swimming pool, spa pools and a steamroom.

A spokesperson for the chain said: "We are delighted to announce to be opening a new DW Fitness club in Lincoln.

"It is a fantastic area that is thriving at the moment and we feel we can offer the residents of Lincoln a new sporting experience unlike any other in the area"

DW Sports Fitness was set up in 2009 after Dave Whelan bought JJB fitness clubs and adjoining sports stores.

Lincoln will be the 68th club in the group's portfolio.
