Our collaboration with the Mayrlife Day Clinic allows us to introduce a form of wellbeing that is not only restorative but deeply insightful
– Roland Hamberger, MD, Rosewood Vienna
Mayrlife has created a two-day and a seven-day programme for its new day clinic customers
The packages start at €885 (US$965, £752) per person, not including accommodation
Massages at the hotel's Asaya Spa are included
In addition to gut health therapies, other treatments will include IV, red light and osteopathic therapies

As part of its first hotel partnership, Mayrlife – the medical health resort company known for its site in Altaussee, Austria – has launched a day clinic at the Rosewood Vienna.

Mayrlife offers holistic health programmes based on modern Mayr medicine, which involves gut health, detoxification and introducing sustainable lifestyle changes. It combines preventative health methodologies, medical assessments and holistic therapies to optimise long-term wellbeing.

In collaboration with the Rosewood team, Mayrlife has created a programme of experiences designed exclusively for the hotel and its guests, without the need for an overnight stay. The curated journey is structured with three phases: diagnosis, understanding and restoration. Guest can then explore their wellbeing requirements at their own pace and according to their personal priorities.

Rosewood Vienna sees the Mayrlife clinic’s offering as complementary to Rosewood Vienna’s Asaya Spa programming, “honouring both the scientific and soulful sides of wellness hospitality.”

Roland Hamberger, MD, Rosewood Vienna, said: “At Rosewood Vienna, we believe that true luxury lies in experiences that bring clarity and connection. Our collaboration with the Mayrlife Day Clinic allows us to introduce a form of wellbeing that is not only restorative but deeply insightful. It offers our guests the opportunity to rediscover themselves through a blend of medical expertise and calm, all within the cadence of Vienna’s historic centre.”

Two-day programme

The Mayrlife Day Clinic Vienna will offer the Two-Day Rosewood Special for guests looking for a focused reset and introduction to Mayr medicine during a shorter stay in the city.

The programme starts with a medical examination that takes 50 minutes and analyses blood samples for free radicals due to oxidative stress (FRAS) and mineral content. This is followed by a functional myodiagnostics session, which is a muscle testing technique used to assess gut health and identify food intolerances.

Guests then have a cryotherapy treatment, followed by an Intermittent Hypoxia-Hyperoxic Training (IHHT) session, which is said to improve mitochondrial function.

The hotel’s Asaya Spa will then provide a 60-minute treatment in the form of a bespoke massage or an Augusinius Bader Introductory Facial.

The price of this programme starts at €885 (US$965, £752) per person and does not include the cost of accommodation.

Seven-day programme

The day clinic will provide a comprehensive medically-guided journey for guests that begins with the same medical tests and the myodiagnostics session.

Two manual abdominal treatments are also part of the package, designed to support abdominal health. A 3D body scan is included too, alongside a 30-minute online nutritional consultation to encourage guests to extend the benefits beyond their stay with lifestyle advice.

Two of the same 60-minute treatments are available at the Asaya Spa again as part of this programme.

The price of this programme starts at €1,980 (US$2,158, £1,683) per person and does not include accommodation.

Additional therapies

For a more personalised experience, the day clinic will offer a selection of additional therapies based on guests’ needs.

These additional treatments include IV therapy, red light therapy, osteo training to improve posture and pelvic floor training.

Rosewood Vienna guests will receive a 10 per cent reduction on all additional Mayrlife services during their stay – excluding packages, supplements and massages.

Other Mayrlife locations

In addition to the day clinic at Rosewood Vienna and its health resort in Altaussee, Mayrlife operates a standalone day clinic in London, UK, which opened in 2017.

Rosewood Vienna

Rosewood Vienna is a restored series of four historic 19th-century buildings that used to be a prominent bank and, before that, Mozart used to live there.

Located in the city's Old Town, the 103-key hotel has an Asaya Spa that extends across the building’s fifth and sixth floors. It has treatment rooms as well as a private social suite. There is a relaxation area, sauna, steamroom and experience shower.
