Amrit Ocean Resort & Spa has finally lifted the curtain on its highly-anticipated four-storey, 103,000sq ft wellness sanctuary
Claimed to be the largest spa in Florida, Amrit Wellness & Spa extends beyond traditional spa treatments to offer fully immersive and exclusive wellness experiences and therapies designed to balance and enhance overall wellness
The wellness retreat is home to 25 treatment rooms in addition to a 40,000 sq ft indoor-outdoor hydrothermal circuit, relaxation rooms, a 1,200sq ft hammam, a large gym, mindfulness studios, a retail boutique and more
Spa services blend European, Chinese and Indian wellness traditions, featuring advanced tech-forward treatments, holistic therapies and integrated health assessments
Amrit Ocean Resort, a new luxury wellness retreat on Southern Florida’s Singer Island, has opened its long-awaited 103,000sq ft sanctuary after nearly seven years of development.

Home to 25 treatment rooms, Amrit Wellness & Spa is located on seven acres of private beach in Palm Beach County’s Singer Island and has been conceived as a transformative retreat blending European, Chinese and Indian wellness traditions.

Rooted in the Sanskrit word meaning “elixir of life,” the spa's philosophy emphasises five pillars of wellbeing: mindfulness, nutrition, fitness, relaxation and sleep.

Managed by hospitality and management company Highgate, Amrit opened in May 2024 with 155 wellness-inspired guestrooms, five dining concepts and more than 10,000sq ft of event spaces.

The resort’s brand-new spa was designed in partnership with interior design firm Bilkey Llinas Design, spa brand and operator ESPA and wellness business consultancy Under A Tree (UAT). UAT played a key role in the project, overseeing the spa's concept development, programming and financial modelling, as well as offering design and development support.

Highlights include a large indoor-outdoor hydrotherapy circuit, a comprehensive menu of both holistic and tech-forward wellness treatments, integrated health assessments, wellness memberships and the Personal Wellness Support System (PWSS) – a proprietary web-based platform designed to further customise guests’ wellness journeys before, during and after their stay.

Spa facilities
At the heart of the spa is the 17,000sq ft indoor/outdoor Aayush Hydrothermal Experience – a sequence of hot and cold pools, a hydro-reflexology path, an arctic chill fountain, an effusion shower, a salt inhalation chamber, saunas and steamrooms and a lap pool.

The facility is also home to a 1,200sq ft hammam, a retail area, an IV lounge, oceanfront relaxation spaces and separate sex locker rooms.

A modern fitness and mindfulness centre provides access to a 3,500sq ft Matrix-equipped cardio studio, along with two separate wings that each contain three additional breakout studios for group fitness and wellness classes.

Classes offered include cardio circuit, cycling, functional training, mat Pilates, a range of yoga disciplines, sound baths and more.

All hotel guests enjoy complimentary access to the fitness centre and all classes.

Completing the spa experience, Amrit features a full-service salon for nail, hair, and makeup services, alongside the introduction of trichology, a specialised study of the hair and scalp, and a suite of nonsurgical scalp and hair rejuvenation treatments.

Spa and wellness partners
The facility’s detailed treatment menu ranges from traditional holistic healing rituals to more medically-minded experiences backed by modern technology.

Treatment partners include Icoone, MarocMaroc, Biologique Recherche, EmerginC, Seed To Skin Tuscany, Codage Paris and MediSpa.

Notably, Amrit is the first spa in Florida to feature MediSpa’s advanced Facial Rejuvenation Device, capable of delivering eight skin rejuvenation treatments – ranging from oxygen infusion to radio frequency skin tightening – using a single machine.

The facility’s full-body red light therapy equipment was provided by TheraLight while Scandia created and installed Amrit’s saunas.

Italian spa and wellness equipment supplier Lemi was also appointed to kit out the spa’s 25 treatment rooms with premium treatment couches.

Twelve treatment rooms are fitted with showers – including one dedicated to Thai massage – and two couples' retreat suites offer oceanfront terraces and luxury steam showers.

Integrated health assessments
As part of Amrit’s integrated health services, the wellness facility has collaborated with board-certified physicians and medical practitioners to offer integrated health assessments and services.

Experiences include the 360-degree Personal Wellness Guide Assessment with a focus on the five pillars; a Nutrition Assessment with a registered dietician; an In-Body Evaluation for a body’s composition report; and an Ayurvedic Assessment.

After an assessment, Personal Wellness Guides will recommend one or more of Amrit’s integrated wellness services to help guests meet their wellness and health goals.

Services include IV therapy, dry flotation, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, acupuncture and sound baths, as well as red light therapy, Tibetan sound bowl chakra balancing, pulsed electromagnetic field therapy, Ayurvedic assessments and more.

Additional programming
Guests looking for a fully immersive wellness stay at Amrit can book one of the spa’s all-inclusive three-night retreat packages which incorporate all of Amrit Wellness’ touchpoints for a holistic approach designed to rejuvenate the mind, body and spirit.
