The Montreux Palace, a Raffles International hotel, has opened an Amrita Wellness centre on the shores of Lake Geneva in Switzerland.

The 1,935sq m spa, which was completed in October, will incorporate a wellness care and treatment area with a range of facilities and services, including hydrotherapy pools, Vichy showers, seven treatment cabins, a private VIP room for couples, a solarium, a bubble lounger and a steam shower.

Treatments include stone therapy and massages as well as a range of facials, body wraps and masks using products from Kerstin Florian and Amrita's own range.

Other facilities include two separate wet zones for men and women with a sauna, steamroom, whirlpool, bubble loungers, baths and locker rooms; a fitness centre with a studio and resistance and CV equipment; indoor and outdoor swimming pools facing onto the lake; a juice bar open to the outdoor pool; and La Brasserie du Palace, serving special light cuisine.

New underground parking at the Montreux Palace gives direct access to Amrita Wellness, which can also be reached by an underground passage from the hotel's conference centre. Details: +41 1 893 1045
