Anni Hood has been appointed by McLean Events International (MEI) as event director for SPATEC Europe and SPATEC Asia.

Hood brings a wide range of experience to her new role, including as the group director of spas for the Jumeirah Group, where she was responsible for creating a global integrative health spa model for the luxury hotel sector.

She replaces Berni Hawkins, who is to become the managing director of the new UK-based residential spa concept Lifehouse.
