BC Softwear, which supplies towels and robes to hotels, spas and salons, is introducing an anti slip sole on all its disposable spa slippers.
Created specifically for hotels and spas, the sole is certified anti slip on any wet surfaces, including poolside, after testing by British Leather Technology Centre.
“It is essential that footwear manufacturers test slip resistance by measuring the coefficient of friction between the sole and different types of flooring under both wet and dry conditions,” says Barbara Cooke, managing director of BC Softwear.
The sole will be introduced to the entire range of slippers by BC Softwear, which will be the only UK supplier with the certification.
