Boutique resort and spa Beach House Maldives is to join the Waldorf Astoria Collection from 1 November.

Located in the far north of the Maldives on the lagoon-ringed Haa Alifu Atoll, it will become the first Waldorf Astoria Collection property in the Asia Pacific region.

The 35-acre resort features 83 Maldivian-style villas, each with a private swimming pool and butler. There are also four restaurants and a wine cellar.
