Blissful Spa, a new Balinese-themed spa concept, has launched its flagship site at the Manar Mall in Ras al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.

The 2,480sq ft (230.4sq m) venue incorporates three treatments rooms, 10 manicure stations, five pedicure stations and a private pedicure room for two ladies.

All body treatments are offered within the tranquil massage therapy room, which also boasts its own jet spray shower room. A full hairdressing salon also features.

The Blissful Spaconcept has been devised by Shelley Badgery and Kay Clark and aims to provide women with a European-style spa experience in the Emirate state.

Speaking to Spa Opportunities, Badgery said: "Our concept and ambiance of the spa is themed on a Balinese spa. We researched and travelled to various spas and countries to get our concept just right for our clients."

Badgery also revealed that the pair have plans to open a new men's spa at Manar Mall, which is due to undergo an expansion with the creation of a new floor.

Suppliers to Blissful Spa include Redken, L'Oreal, Gigi Organics, Betty Jackson Organics and Nubar nail products. Signature treatments include the Gold/Silver Facial and the Rose Foot Spa.
