Chelsea relaunches holistic spa
POSTED 22 Nov 2010 . BY Tom Walker
The rebranded Antara spa at The Chelsea Club
Private members health and fitness club The Chelsea Club has rebranded and relaunched its spa offering at the Stamford Bridge stadium complex in London.

Antara will replace the former Escape spa at the club and will be open to non-members for individual treatments and day spa visits.

The rebranded and revamped spa has five treatment rooms, a hammam, a consultation room and an open manicure and pedicure area.

Treatments include a wide range of European, Ayurvedic and Oriental therapies, as well as fusion treatments, such as Ayurveda Hot Stones (Lithos therapy and Ayurveda Oil therapy) and Cleopatra Royal Bath (oriental massage, aromatherapy body and face treatment in a Turkish hammam).

Antara has sourced its own supply of Ayurvedic oils from India and in addition uses US-based ONLY YOURx skincare and Aromatherapy Associates.

The spa has a Moroccan-styled entrance and a Turkish décor, as well as Indian inspired rooms and specialist furniture for Ayurvedic therapies and contemporary chic for European beauty treatments.

The spa's ethos is based on "bringing harmony" to clients. Private consultations with the spa's specialist doctors and therapists are included with treatments.

Healthy meals and refreshments are available in The Chelsea Club lounge, a selection of which is coded according to Ayurvedic Dosha types.

The Chelsea Club is owned by Chelsea Football Club owner Roman Abramovich.

Flomny Vinay Menon, holistic spa manager, said: "We work with some of the most experienced specialist therapists and consultants in the fields of Ayurveda, oriental and European wellness therapies in order to provide our clients an unforgettable personalised experience.

"It's important we deliver outstanding therapies to maximise our clients' energy and natural beauty levels while promoting positive wellbeing."
