Clinique La Prairie has opened its first international Health Resort in Anji, China, expanding its global presence
The resort offers access to medical, nutrition, wellness, and movement specialists, with signature programs similar to its flagship in Montreux, Switzerland
This expansion is part of the brand's global rollout plan, aiming to open up to 50 properties worldwide, including urban outposts known as Longevity Hubs
The brand recently signed a deal with Beiersdorf, the parent company of La Prairie, to sign over all of its real estate assets at its flagship in Montreux
Swiss medical wellness and longevity brand Clinique La Prairie has unveiled its highly-anticipated health resort in Anji, China. The opening marks the brand's debut in China and its first international Health Resort outside of Switzerland.

“We’re thrilled to announce the opening of our resort in China, representing a monumental leap in our mission to expand our legacy of excellence globally,” said the company in a statement.

“The new resort is nestled in a secluded haven of peaceful waters and stunning mountains, reminiscent of the setting of its flagship in Montreux, Switzerland.”

The resort offers access to medical, nutrition, wellness and movement specialists and offers all of Clinique La Prairie's signature programmes, except for its Revitalisation program which remains exclusively available in Switzerland.

Global ambitions
The brand’s entry into China is part of its ambitious global rollout plans which involve opening up to 50 properties worldwide.

The new Anji destination joins Clinique La Prairie’s flagship Health Resort in Montreux. It will be followed by another in Amaala, the wellness-focused Saudi giga project, in 2025.

Since 2020, the brand has also been gradually rolling out city-based satellite sites – known as Longevity Hubs.

The urban outposts have opened in Madrid, Bangkok, Doha, Taipei and most recently, Dubai, at the newly-launched One&Only One Za’abeel.

“The long-term plan is to reach about 40 Longevity Hubs and 10 Health Resorts, while always maintaining exclusivity and reinforcing that the flagship property in Montreux is the pinnacle of our portfolio,” said Simone Gibertoni, Clinique La Prairie CEO, in an exclusive interview with Spa Business.
