The Coconut Bay Resort & Spa on the island of St Lucia in the West Indies is preparing a soft opening in January 2005.
The 254-room resort is set in 85 acres of tropical forest on the island’s southern coast.
Amenities include St Lucia’s first waterpark – featuring a lazy river, two water slides and three swimming pools – as well as six tennis courts, an outdoor whirlpool and a golf putting green.
Spa facilities include a fitness centre, ocean view treatment rooms, a relaxation lounge, sauna and steamroom. The treatment list has yet to be finalised.
The resort will also have two themed a la carte restaurants, a buffet restaurant and a beachside grill.
The resort will fully open on 20 February 2005.
