Construction is almost complete on a £1m project to add eight treatment rooms to the spa at Solent Hotel in Fareham, Hampshire, UK.

Part of the Shire Hotels group, the Solent Hotel & Spa will open the new treatment rooms, which will be available for both hotel guests and members of the surrounding community, in March 2006.

Existing spa facilities at the Solent include a gym, a swimming pool, a colour therapy sauna and a fibre-optic steamroom.

ESPA will be the only treatment brand stocked while therapies will range from hot stone therapy to aromatherapy massages and reflexology. Details: www.shirehotels.com
