A luxury day spa has opened at the Villa del Arco beach resort in Cabo San Lucas in Baja California Sur, Mexico.
Called the Desert Spa, and opened in conjunction with the Villa del Arco resort, the facility has been designed using earth tones and utilising as much natural light as possible.
Spa features include separate hydrotherapy centres for men and women alongside a whirlpool, a plunge pool, cold pressure showers, a steamroom and a sauna.
The Desert Spa also has 17 treatment rooms, two VIP suites, a full-service beauty salon and a 4,500sq ft (418sq m) fitness centre.
Products created especially for the spa incorporate lime, cactus, melon and vanilla, all of which are native to the Baja desert.
The spa is owned by the Villa Group as part of Villa del Arco – a new, upscale, family-oriented property. It will also be shared by the guests of two of the Villa Group’s existing hotels in a gated enclave.
