Sama Dubai, a subsidiary of Dubai Holding, a holding company set up by the government of Dubai, is creating a spa brand, Sama Dubai Resort and Spa.

Two projects are currently underway in the region, both of which are set to be completed in 2009.

The 3.7sq km Salam Resort & Spa-Yiti is being developed in a coastal location in Oman, just south of Muscat.

The luxury resort aims to attract international and regional tourists, as well as second home owners in search of beautiful surroundings and relaxation.

As well as the state of the art wellness center, the complex will include five star hotels, luxury villas, apartments, a golf course and marina.

The second project is taking place in the Bahrain capital, Manama, and will include five resort hotels, what is purported to be one of the region’s most comprehensive treatment facilities, as well as a traditional souq.
