Earth-based rituals and sound baths feature in new spa menu at Casa Madrona

The Casa Madrona Hotel and Spa in Sausalito, San Francisco, has undergone a US$2.5m dollar redevelopment and refreshed its treatment menu.

The 3,000sq ft spa at the 64-room hillside hotel has three new treatment rooms, taking the total to four.

New product partner, Naturopathica, is behind the menu refresh and supplying treatments which promote holistic health and earth-based beauty rituals. This partnership provides spa guests with the option to enhance any treatment with Naturopathica’s CBD infusions.

The refreshed menu offers everything from traditional treatments such as massages and facials to sound baths.

In addition, spa manager Qadiri Zebrowski has curated four new wellness journeys for the menu which focus on water, sound, spirituality and astrology – called Casa Water Journey, Guided Spiritual Journey, Guided Astrological Journey and Vibrational Sound Therapy.

Wellness Journeys

Name: Casa Water Journey
Duration: 60 or 90 minutes
Price: US$190 (€172, £146) or US$255 (€203, £172)
Description: This private in-room ritual with water, sound and aroma encourages physiological and emotional healing. This journey includes magnesium bath salts, herbal tea, optional mediation and customised massage.

Name: Vibrational Sound Therapy
Duration: 60 or 90 minutes
Price: US$190 (€172, £146) or US$255 (€203, £172)
Description: This Wellness Journey (enjoyed as a group, individually or in addition to a signature treatment) employs crystal Tibetan Singing Bowls, tuning forks, and other instruments, combined with healing frequencies to engage guests with energy healing that distils the essence of music and vibration into harmonic tones to promote deep healing and cellular regeneration.

Name: Guided Spiritual Journey
Duration: 90 minutes
Price:/US$315 (€285, £241)
Description: Customised to answer questions, offer inspirational wisdom, and inspire healing, this journey brings awareness to what is unconscious and deeply opens and prepares the body and energy fields for one’s true nature to expand. Sessions may include connections with Spirit Guides, and discussion on everything from cultivating intuition, to grieving and recovery, to connecting with spiritual realms. This treatment is conducted via phone, with a recording offered for future use.

Name: Guided Astrological Journey
Duration: 90 minutes
Price: US$315 (€285, £241)
Description: The Astrological Journal is meant to bring clarity, greater meaning and purpose to guests by interpreting their natal chart. The natal chart maps out planetary influences that affects one’s being and provides insight and offers solutions for life’s obstacles. This one-on-one Wellness Journey brings the body, emotions and mind into a greater state of harmony.

The Casa Madrona Hotel and Spa in Sausalito, San Francisco, has undergone a US$2.5m dollar redevelopment and refreshed its treatment menu.

The 3,000sq ft spa at the 64-room hillside hotel has three new treatment rooms, taking the total to four.

New product partner, Naturopathica, is behind the menu refresh and supplying treatments which promote holistic health and earth-based beauty rituals. This partnership provides spa guests with the option to enhance any treatment with Naturopathica’s CBD infusions.

The refreshed menu offers everything from traditional treatments such as massages and facials to sound baths.

In addition, spa manager Qadiri Zebrowski has curated four new wellness journeys for the menu which focus on water, sound, spirituality and astrology – called Casa Water Journey, Guided Spiritual Journey, Guided Astrological Journey and Vibrational Sound Therapy.

Wellness Journeys

Name: Casa Water Journey
