The five-star Mövenpick El Gouna Hotel on the Red Sea coast in Egypt will open the region’s first Angsana Spa this summer.
The 500sq m (5,400sq ft) spa will have12 treatment rooms, including six double treatment rooms, two luxury treatment rooms, two single treatment rooms and a manicure and pedicure room.
The spa will be managed by Banyan Tree Spa and signature treatments will include the 180-minute Nefertiti’s Ritual – named after the Egyptian queen – which comprises of a 90-minute massage, an exfoliating body wrap and a cooling yoghurt splash.
The spa, which is scheduled to open in August, will expand Angsana's resort spa portfolio to 19.
The company, which was launched in 2000, also operates 7 day spas in Australia, Asia and Africa.
The resort town of El Gouna is located across a number of islands in the Red Sea and has around 10km (6m) of beachfront.
Facilities at the Mövenpick hotel include 513 rooms, four swimming pools, eight restaurants and a golf course.
