Evason Phuket awarded for environmental management

The Board of Environmental Promotion of Tourism Activities (BEPTA) awards properties between one and five Green Leaves for efficient environmental management.

Evason Phuket Resort in Phuket, Thailand, was recently accredited with four Green Leaves for excellent resource efficiency of environmental protection via the Green Leaf Programme.

In addition, Evason became an official benchmarked resort with Green Globe 21 – a certification and improvement system for sustainable travel and tourism based on Agenda 21 and the principles for sustainable development endorsed by the United Nations Rio de Janiero Earth Summit.
